Chronology
»Himmelweit…« was designed in summer 2008, the participating institutions of the project and later project mentors met for a first strategy workshop in Dresden in October. In December 2008 and January 2009 the student teams were put together in Bratislava, Prague, Wroclaw and Dresden. A first meeting of all teams and mentors took place in the beginning of February at the premises of the Goethe-Institute in Prague. Among a theme-centred city-tour and evening strolls through Prague, we discussed central questions und working methods. After the workshop the four teams started researching in their respective cities. During a further workshop in April we got to know the work of the Edith-Stein-House and broadened our knowledge on exhibition planning and conception. In June the four city teams presented their research and working hypothesis, thus expanding our mutual understanding of the similarities and differences of the transformation processes in the various cities and states. Summertime was all about transfering all materials, ideas and theses in exhibitions modules. From October 2009 the results were presented in Wroclaw, Dresden Prague, Zilina and Bratislava.
